Mining Fleet Valuations

International Equipment Inspections

Since the commodity market prices dropped dramatically many machines in mines are vacant for new ownership. Even whole mines are for sale. Fleets of CAT 777 trucks, large excavators and other mining machinery are sitting in stand-by mode in quarries and mines. Contracts with mining service providers have to be re-calculated or negotiated.
When it comes to change in ownership the contribute starts. What is the real value for such equipment? Who can evaluate the current value of big iron without a conflict of interest? Are there external experts that understand machinery and equipment conditions on one hand and are able to validate the market prices for fleets of equipment on the other hand?
The Mevas team has done such kind of jobs in the past. We can present references of fleet valuations for mining equipment and for other kind of construction machinery on request. With our team we are flexible enough to inspect a whole fleet of machines within a short period of time.
A well-organized German team of technicians can travel to any place in the world. Good connections in the world of heavy equipment enable us to examine realistic residual values for equipment.
We are absolutely independent, not interested in trading with machinery. We have a good reputation for equipment inspections and various CAT dealers around the globe hire us for used machinery inspections. We are ready to support your business.

Caterpillar, Komatsu, Terex

Mevas can look back to many inspections and valuations of larger equipment. We have inspected bulldozers up to CAT D11R, trucks up to CAT 777F, face shovel excavators up to Komatsu PC 2000, motor-graders up to CAT 16M and various other larger iron.

Atlas Copco, Tamrock, Sandvik

The inspection and valuation of blast hole rock drills is a specific job. Machines are complicated and having not just an engine and a hydraulic system but also a hammer, a compressor and a dust collector. Drill rod carousels and undercarriage make the drilling unit complete. Not many tecnichians are able to perform a profund inspection.
