Mevas is your inspection partner for used machinery in West-African countries. We cover Nigeria, South-Africa, Ghana & Egypt with local inspectors. Other territories are possible on request. Our inspectors are local technicians with a background in machinery repair and maintenance. All of them got a remote training to understand the purpose of a machine inspection.
Mevas is your parter for independent 3rd party inspections of used heavy equipment. We do nothing else than inspecting used machinery and trucks.Our local technician can perform testing and inspection for construction and mining equipment. We can inspect on your behalf concrete pumps, road construction machinery and trucks. We can inspect bulldozers, wheel-loaders, motor-graders and any other equipment including special mining equipment.
Our inspection for heavy equipment includes a visual inspection, functional testing, survey for cracks and damages. Approval of the hydraulic functions and malfunctions is included. For cranes we can perform a full functional test including video-inspection and load test.
The MEVAS engineer can also be sent for survey the loading of goods to vessel or into containers for shipping. Service can be provieded for port of Lagos, Tin Can, Calabar, Delta and Onne port. For machinery inspections we travel to Ibadan, Abuja, Kano or any mining area.
Next to Nigeria we can perform machinery inspections also in South-Africa, Tanzania, Ghana, The Emirates, Egypt and some other countries. Also in Eastern Africa we can probably serve. This depends a bit on travel restrictions due Covid-19.
MEVAS is not trading machines and our inspectors are usually not involved in buying or selling of equipment. We don't search for machinery and we can't share information about used machines we have inspected. Thus we remain absolutely independent.
