|
MEVAS are
an
inspection company specialising in used heavy
equipment, although our base
is in Germany we control an international network of
especially
selected inspectors that have the capacity to carry
out inspections
throughout the World. Our core business is inspecting construction machines but we also have engineers that specialise in crane inspections we also offer this service to our international customers. Over 800 inspections are now an average years work for MEVAS. For many Years Mevas have been renowned for high quality construction Machine inspections and since 2010 due to popular demand we have extended our network of inspectors to include specialists from the Crane Industry so that Mevas can provide new and existing customers with Crane Inspections of a consistantly high standard. Our expertise extends to mobile cranes, rough terrain cranes and cranes on tracks. How does it work for you as our customer? If you have found the crane you want to buy, you can contact us for an inspection quotation. If you agree with our offer, we will send you a proforma-invoice with banking details. For the first business we would appreciate to be paid in advance. Payment and tax details you can find here. We would need from you the contact details of the vendor including name and telephone number. Our inspector would make direct contact with the supplier to arrange the inspection and give instructions what needs to be done in preparation of our examination. The crane needs to be in a work-ready position and ballasted. It is essential to have an operator available who is familiar with the operation of this particular crane. Before giving an inspection estimate price we always ensure our inspectors are aquainted with the type of Crane in question, we would sooner decline the business rather than pretend to be experts on something that we are not. The inspection starts with a configuration check. Serial numbers and chassis number will be approved. The inspector then does a visual walk-around check for cracks, leaks and damage etc. This is then followed by an operational test of all systems such as the hydraulic system along with testing of the telescopic boom followed by operational rope inspections along with an LMB survey. Later the operating functions of the carrier such as transmission and brakes would also be inspected and tested. Report and Photographs Our specialist will then compile a written report detailing the faults he has located and any concerns he may feel need highlighting to a potential purchaser or end user. This report would then be accompanied by Photographs of all items highlighted in the written report. With a click here you can get an example-report, please note that it only has a few example Pictures, a genuine report could contain many more depending on the condition of the Machine inspected. Why can you rely on MEVAS? First of all, we do nothing else other than inspect heavy equipment. Secondly but just as important to our clients, is our independance from any organisations that buy or sell equipment. Being totally independent ensures that our clients get a totally unbiased apraisal of a Machines condition. All information regarding the equipment, location, supplier and condition will only be shared with yourselves. References and Services A click on references will show you a list with companies around the World who regularly put their trust in MEVAS to carry out appraisals on their behalf also listed below are some of the Cranes we have previously inspected. Please do not hesitate to contact us for an inspection quotation. Our services do not have to stop once the initial inspection has been carried out, we are often asked to make a return visit to cofirm that recomended repairs have been carried out to a suitable standard. With our international contacts we can also give help and guidance in solving problems with forwarding machines to many destinations. |
